Extended Psychoeducational Battery

This battery is intended for individuals ages 15 and older, and is designed to support the need for accommodations in high school and college as well as on high-stakes entrance exams. The battery is also applicable for certification exams for adults. These assessments are often reevaluations to reconfirm eligibility of a learning difference and determine if the individual continues to demonstrate a need for accommodations.

For initial evaluations, the results will conclude if the student meets criteria of a learning difference/disability and if the student is eligible to receive services from their campus’ student support program. Recommendations for accommodations and individualized strategies are included based on the student’s needs. This battery screens for attention, focus, and concentration difficulties. The assessment is approximately eight hours long and can be divided into two separate testing sessions.

What is evaluated in this battery:

  • Cognitive processing/Intellectual ability
  • Reading, including word reading and decoding, reading fluency and reading comprehension
  • Written expression
  • Criteria for diagnosis of Dyslexia
  • Criteria for diagnosis of Dysgraphia

  • Expressive and receptive language skills
  • Attentional differences

  • Personalized accommodations and strategies for home and school
